Replace the sample names with your own list, one person per line. Commas also separate entries, so avoid commas inside a single name.

Check the eligible count and enable Remove winner after selection if each person should win only once across consecutive spins.

Select Spin the wheel and read the selected name after the reveal. Use a distinguishing initial or ID if two people share a name.
How randomness and fairness work
The eligible entries are shuffled using browser cryptographic randomness, and the first entry becomes the winner. Duplicate labels are merged without regard to letter case. Each remaining distinct entry has the same chance on an ordinary name draw.
Limitations
A fair draw cannot verify whether the source list itself is complete, accurate, or eligible.
Questions about the Random Name Picker
How do I pick names without repeating a winner?
Enable Remove winner after selection before spinning. The winning name is removed from the saved list and cannot be selected again unless you add it back.
What happens to duplicate names?
The ordinary name picker combines identical labels without regard to case. Use separate labels for different people who share a name, such as Sam 1 and Sam 2.
Can I pick several winners at once?
Use the Multiple-winner Picker and choose the Winners count. This page draws one winner per spin.
Where is my list saved, and what does Share include?
The list is automatically saved in this browser. Share includes the options and settings in the URL, so anyone who receives the link can read the names. Avoid sharing a link containing a private roster.
