How to use the Unique Number Generator

Generate random numbers without repeats. Choose a range and draw up to 100 distinct integers for samples or raffle positions. The controls and result are provided on one page so the task can be completed without an account or uploading the input.

When and why to use it

Use it for raffle positions, sampling, or assignments that cannot contain duplicate numbers.

Example

Draw six different numbers from 1 through 49.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1

Enter the Minimum and Maximum whole numbers. For six different numbers from 1 through 49, enter 1 and 49.

  2. 2

Set How many to the number of distinct results you need, up to 100. A batch cannot exceed the number of integers in the range.

  3. 3

Select Generate numbers and copy or export the batch. A new click starts a fresh batch with the entire range available again.

How randomness and fairness work

The tool samples integers using browser cryptographic randomness, keeping each accepted number in a set. A duplicate draw is rejected until the batch reaches its requested size or contains every integer in the range. Output stays in selection order rather than being sorted.

Limitations

You cannot receive more unique values than the selected range contains.

Tool-specific FAQ

Questions about the Unique Number Generator

Can the generated numbers repeat?

A number appears at most once within the current batch. Separate clicks generate new batches, so a number from an earlier batch can appear again.

What happens if I request more numbers than the range contains?

The batch is capped at the available integers. Minimum 1, Maximum 5, and How many 10 returns five distinct values. The tool also caps a batch at 100 results.

Can I draw six different numbers from 1 to 49?

Yes. Set Minimum to 1, Maximum to 49, and How many to 6. This makes a random sample for games or demonstrations; it does not predict a real lottery draw.

How can I export the numbers?

After generation, select CSV to download one value per row, or use Copy to copy the displayed batch. Save records the tool as a favorite; it does not preserve the current eligible number pool.
